"AFTERMATH"
(My thoughts)
In the aftermath,
Of what has happened,
All the yesterdays,
Of innocence are gone now.
Our eyes have been opened,
To deceit, dishonesty and hate.
After the terrorism of Sept. 11, 2001,
We all re-united as one Nation Under God.
But it didn't last very long.
Only a short time has gone by,
And we are right back to bickering,
Amonst ourselves again.
When are we going to learn?
Don't let those hate filled mongers,
Change our Country!
They may be the very ones who,
Started this whole mess.
Let's get Prayer and the American Flag,
back into our schools and halls.
Fight for the right to express
Our soverign beliefs.
After all that is what
Our Country is based upon.
They started a lie,
Saying "God is dead",
God is NOT dead!!!
But I bet he wishes He were.
And I don't blame Him one bit,
If He decides to end,
This crazy world right now.
People who say God is dead,
Don't have honesty and love in their hearts.
One wonders why they are so adament,
Except maybe they are Satan's minions.
Makes ya stop and think, huh?!
One of these days,
And I feel it may be too soon...
The days of tribulation will come.
Where will your beliefs be then?
When the soul harvest begins,
Will you be left behind?
I hope and pray,
That my soul remains pure,
In love of God and my Country.
And just maybe,
I'll be one of the first ones,
To be at God's side,
When that time comes.
I don't want to be left behind,
To see everything that happens.
I don't want to go,
Into the times of Revelation.
So, in the aftermath,
Of hate and terrorism,
We must stick together,
And fight against tyrany.
Don't let some idiot,
Tell you how to believe.
Let God be your guide,
And Jesus be your Savior.
Be true to yourself,
And to God.
Give your troubles over to Him,
And you will be saved.
